What a better way to start a travel blog than with a trip to Maldives!

Maldives is definitely a place where no matter how many pictures, blogs, videos and guides you have seen so far - you will still be left speechless after arrival.

We have arrived in Male - the capital of Maldives at night. It was dark and we could not see anything from above. It was a warm August night. We went through border control without any troubles and were ready to take taxi to our hotel in Male.

After leaving the airport building, we made our way to catch a taxi which is right outside the building. As Maldives is an archipelago of islands, the water surrounds it. Even though it was completely dark, I just had to go and try to see the water immediately!

The picture is not the best, but it already shows the colour of the water. I could not wait for the next day to arrive!
